Brookhaven’s Road Repair and Improvement Project is ahead of schedule, said a notice issued by the city.

“Its great that paving and patching projects are ahead of schedule,” Mayor J. Max Davis said in a press release.”Brookhaven residents have waited a long time for safe and smooth roads and we’re working hard to provide just that.”

To keep people aware of the work in their neighborhoods, contractors will distribute door hangers in areas impacted by the work.

As early as July 18 crews will perform road resurfacing on Fuller Road, Goodwin Road and Woodrow Way.

Beginning as early as the week of July 21 crews will be on West Nancy Creek, Hermance Drive, Ivy Brook Lane, Hampton Hall and Hillstone Court.
