Ubiquitous Entertainment Studios LLC (UE Studios) has filed a federal lawsuit to block Tyler Perry from building a new movie studio at the decommissioned Fort McPherson in southwest Atlanta, according to the SaportaReport. In the lawsuit, Ubiquitous claims it has been working on a plan to develop a movie studio and entertainment complex at Fort McPherson for more than three years.

Atlanta police are searching for three armed men who robbed the Benihana restaurant on Peachtree Road in Buckhead overnight, according to our media affiliate CBS46. The robbery happened as workers were closing up when they were approached by masked-men who forced them back into the restaurant and to open the safe. The robbers made off with nearly $10,000 in cash.

Developers who want to build apartments behind Kirkwood Station told residents on Sunday that their project depends on whether rents will increase enough to support it, according to a report at Decaturish. Representatives from Euramex Management spoke during the Kirkwood Neighbors’ Organization meeting. The company is proposing a 250 to 260 units on property behind Kirkwood Station. The development would consist of one or two-bedroom apartments.
