Craft Izakaya, sister restaurant to Sushi Huku, will open at Krog Street Market on Aug. 19, according to a post at Eater Atlanta. The is second opening for the Inman Park-based development, coming on the heels of Eli Kirshtein’s French-American brasserie The Luminary. Craft Izakaya will offer “elevated sushi with developed presentations.”

image008Castellucci Hospitality Group’s latest concept, Cooks & Soldiers, will open on the ground floor of the Elan Westside apartment building this fall. Drawing inspiration from the Basque regions of Spain and France, the restaurant will offer guests a modern approach to the rustic cooking style of southwestern Europe.

Decatur’s Kimball House sits at number one on Southern Living’s Top 10 best new restaurants in the South as part of its  100 Best Restaurants feature. Also making the long list: Bacchanalia, Cakes & Ale, Empire State South, The General Muir, Gunshow, Miller Union, One Flew South, The Optimist and Restaurant Eugene.
