Some Sandy Springs roads will be closed this weekend as the 29th annual Sandy Springs Festival returns Saturday and Sunday. Festival hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The following roads will be closed to vehicles beginning Friday and throughout the festival:
- Sandy Springs Place will be closed between Sandy Springs Circle and Bluestone Road beginning at 10 a.m.
- Sandy Springs Circle will be closed between Mt. Vernon Highway and Sandy Springs Place beginning at 2 p.m.
- Bluestone Road will be closed to southbound traffic only beginning at 11 a.m.
- Hilderbrand Drive will be closed between Sandy Springs Circle and Bluestone Drive beginning at 5 p.m.
The roads will reopen by 10 p.m. Sunday.
Free parking is available at the Century Springs East and West office complex at the corner of Lake Forrest Drive and Hammond Drive. The Cooper-Global Transportation Shuttle service will drop off and pick up at Gate 4 (Sandy Springs Circle at Hammond Drive) throughout the weekend.
