Atlanta police have arrested a man they say stabbed a teenager to death in Downtown’s Woodruff Park. According to a report from our media affiliate CBS46, officers responded to the Peachtree Street park around 9:45 p.m. They found a man in his late teens who had been stabbed. Paramedics rushed the victim to Grady Memorial Hospital where he died.

After questioning witnesses, the suspect, Trent Anderson, 26, was found a few blocks from the stabbing scene and was arrested. Officers said Anderson apparently knew the victim and the two were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. The name of the victim has not been released.
