Atlanta Pet Rescue & Adoption (APRA) will host its annual fundraising event, Paws in the Park 2014, on Sunday, Oct. 5, at Centennial Olympic Park. APRA aims to raise $80,000 during the event through contributions and donations from sponsors, vendors and walkers.
APRA invites the community and their canine companions to participate in a wide variety of fun family-friendly activities at Paws in the Park 2014. Event attractions include a charity walk around the park, shopping with vendors, dog athletic demonstrations, and opportunities to meet rescue dogs from multiple shelters.
“APRA relies on financial contributions from local partners like Spend Management Experts in order to save pets and help them find their forever homes,” said Mica Hill, executive director of Atlanta Pet Rescue & Adoption. “We’re beyond grateful to have the support of SME during our Paws in the Park event this year, and look forward to building our partnership in the future.”
