Atlanta Police are preparing to manage crowds and traffic related to events throughout the weekend including football games at the Georgia Dome and Bobby Dodd Stadium at Georgia Tech and the Atlanta Pride festival in Midtown.
Parking around the venues is extremely limited, and police will be ticketing and towing illegally-parked vehicles, so attendees are encouraged to take MARTA or other alternate modes of transportation. Additional police presence in the form of bicycle and foot patrols will be on hand to assist with traffic and security issues. Be sure to avoid blocking driveways and parking illegally. The Atlanta Police Department and Park Atlanta will be ticketing and towing illegally parked cars.
