Atlanta Prides takes place over a sprawling 23 acres of Piedmont Park with dozens of nonprofit groups serving the LGBT communities camping out in the vendor market area to answer questions and provide resources on anything from free HIV testing to rugby to Judaism and transgender services.

Historians place Sandy Springs by the area’s most historic cultural landmark, the Hightower Indian Trail, then commonly used by Native Americans crossing the state.
