If you were on the Beltline by Ponce City Market the Saturday morning of Pride weekend and stumbled upon a bunch of (occasionally rainbow-clad) people sweating, grunting and cheering each other on as they pushed sleds up and down a parking lot, you were not mistaken. It was the Fight For Pride competition hosted by The Training Room ATL.
Teams of two competed against each other in several unorthodox feats of strength and endurance for prizes and, more importantly, pride. And adding an extra layer of cruelty to the proceedings, onlookers sipped beer and mimosas as the gladiators surged on. Check out our photo gallery from the unique event.
