Dunwoody city officials say they plan to test the new weather warning sirens at Brook Run Park on Friday, Oct. 24, between 10 a.m. and noon.

The sirens are intended to warn of severe and dangerous weather, such as tornadoes, golf-ball-sized or larger hail or thunderstorms with winds estimated at 70 mph or greater.
