Atlanta Public Schools, Fulton County Schools, City Schools of Decatur and DeKalb County Schools have all decided to close on Thursday, Feb. 26, despite the winter weather warning being mostly a rain event Intown.There are still concerns for icy roads as rain continues to fall and temperatures dip.

Communities on the northside of the city saw snow and sleet, while Intown saw a mid-afternoon wintry mix that didn’t stick. The weather caused a temporary ground stop at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and there were numerous flight cancellations on Wednesday.
