The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office says two men may be targeting victims by using the gay men’s hookup app Jack’d.

A Conyers man was robbed at gunpoint in his home on Saturday after he told police he met one of the men on Jack’d, according to a story by WSB-TV.

The 23-year old victim told police he answered the door at his home and two men with guns pushed their way inside. The victim was pushed to the ground while the two robbers took items including iPhones, a PlayStation, Ugg boots, an iPad, and his dead mother’s jewelry.

  1. Let this be a lesson to all you hot in the ass gay boys. Stop being so quick to hook up via jackd and adam4adam. And if you are going to hookup. Do some THOROUGH research. Ask questions, ask for pics, ect. Smh dummy

    1. They could’ve done research, gotten pictures, a name, etc. and that’s not a guarantee that the incident wouldn’t have occurred.
As much false information that people share online portraying to be someone that they’re not, could’ve very well been the case in this incident.
There’s no perfect advice to give when it comes to hooking up, but to use your best judgement and be careful about who you invite into your residence and who you go meet. Suggest to meet up somewhere in public so that you can get a feel of the person before committing to going to either residence or location to fulfill your sexual desires.

  2. Where in the story says it was for a hookup?? Just because it used mostly for hookups doesn’t mean EVERYONE uses it for hookups. Coulda been a dinner date at home. Could’ve been invited for a drink. Hell it could’ve been to play video games. He could’ve sent 30 fake pictures a fake name and a bunch of fake info that all seemed legit.
