The Georgia Department of Transportation has reopened Northside Drive in both directions after major repairs between Channing Drive and Collier Road after a huge water main break.

Transportation contractors had to repair a  “void” on the northbound lane of Northside after a company removing a tree accidentally broke the 100-year-old pipe.
