A Buckhead man was hit and killed by a train as he walked along the tracks near Lenox Park Boulevard and Roxboro Road, according to CBS46.

Rick Harris, the Director of Corporate Communications for Norfolk Southern, said the conductor went into an emergency stop once he saw the man on the tracks. Harris said the conductor blew the train’s horn to alert the man, but added that the man never moved off the tracks.

The man died at the scene, according to Harris.
