Atlanta Police homicide detectives are seeking a good samaritan who found the wallet of a robbery victim near where two men were shot and killed behind the Vortex restaurant in Little Five Points back in March.

On the evening of March 14, two armed robberies were committed along N. Highland Avenue. During the second robbery, a wallet was stolen and later discarded. The good samaritan found the wallet and returned it to the Highland Pub after he found a card inside, but no other identification. Detectives said the good samaritan is not a suspect but they want to know exactly where he found the wallet so they can establish a timeline between the Highland robberies and the double homicide.

Two suspects, including a juvenile, are already in custody for the armed robberies, but police need more evidence to connect them to the murders. Detectives also believe there were at least two other suspects involved in the robberies and murders. Chad Kelsey, 32, and Joe Hruska, 33, were the victims gunned down after an attempted robbery.

The Inman Park Neighborhood Association and Crime Stoppers have set up a Fundly campaign to raise reward money to help solve these crimes. You can make a donation at this link.
