Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival serves as a fundraiser for non-profit organizations Georgia Organics and The Giving Kitchen, raising $120,000 in 2014.
Chef-owner and host Ford Fry’s forthcoming European steakhouse, Marcel, will also be on display during the festival. In addition to killer tomato bites and libations, the afternoon will also feature live entertainment by Beastie Boys and Sublime tribute band Ill Communication as well as chef Ford Fry’s all-chef band Five Bone Rack.
General admission tickets are $70 per person and $65 each for Georgia Organics members. VIP tickets are $125 per person and include early entry into the event beginning at noon. Guests are also invited to purchase a Tomato Fest meal from Garnish & Gather which includes a $60 festival ticket. Tickets can be purchased at www.killertomatofest.com.
Held rain or shine, the festival will take place throughout the two-story courtyard between JCT. Kitchen and Bacchanalia. Guests are encouraged to Uber to the event. Limited parking will be available behind the Westside Provisions parking deck and at The Howard School located at 1192 Foster Street.
