Saturday, July 18, 7:30 a.m. – The Brookhaven Parks and Recreation Department has officially announced the first annual 5k race taking place in Blackburn Park. Presented in affiliation with Play in Brookhaven and Run & See Georgia, this event takes place during the Parks and Recreation Month which was established in 1985. The race includes awards for overall male, female and masters groups, and will highlight the top three males and females in 14 age groups.
