After more than three days of low water pressure (or no water at all) and a two day water boil advisory, DeKalb County’s water system has finally returned to normal. DeKalb County Watershed Management lifted the boil advisory just before 8 p.m.

Residents and businesses took to social media to complain about DeKalb’s lack of communication and how a county mower hitting a fire hydrant could knock out water to a county of more than 700,000 people for such an extended period. DeKalb commissioners have said they will be investigating the issue.
