Centennial Olympic Park will host a reunion to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Atlanta being awarded the 1996 Summer Olympic Games, according to the AJC. The event will be held Sept. 18 and include members of the Atlanta delegation who represented the city in its final Olympic bid presentation in Tokyo. A larger public celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Games will take place in the park in July 2016.

CNN is reporting that Spelman College has terminated a professorship endowed by actor Bill Cosby and his wife Camille. Cosby has been accused of sexual assault by more than 40 women. The professorship was funded through an endowment created in the late 1980s, when Bill and Camille Cosby donated $20 million dollars to Spelman. At the time, it was the largest individual donation ever made to an historically black college or university.

The Centers for Disease Control was closed Monday morning because of the ongoing water issues in DeKalb County. The county was plagued with low pressure and periods of no water for more than three days after a county mower hit a water main and ruptured a 48-inch transmission line in Tucker. The entire county remains under a boil water advisory while testing continues to make sure bacteria isn’t present.
