Atlanta Streetcar services are temporarily suspended for repair of the power delivery system, according to a media release from the city.
Repairs are currently underway to overhead power lines at Edgewood Avenue SE and Jackson Street NE; Auburn Avenue NE and Peachtree Street NW. Repairs may cause temporary road closures along the Streetcar route. Traffic control measures will be in place; however, motorists are urged to avoid the impacted area if possible.
Repairs are expected to be completed by Monday, Aug. 3.
