Leadership Sandy Springs plans to show three family films outdoors on Friday nights in August and September as part of its 11th annual Movies By Moonlight series.

The films will be shown on the lawn of the Activity Center at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church. Showings start at dark. Admission is free. Last year, nearly 7,000 people took part, the organization said. Food trucks are to be on hand to sell snacks and meals.

This year’s showings feature the films “Big Hero 6”: on Aug. 21, “Home”: on Aug. 28; and “Cinderella” on Sept. 25.
