Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Atlantans were left “devastated” after he was disinvited to speak at this past weekend’s RedState Gathering. Event organizer Erick Erickson rescinded The Donald’s invite after comments the business mogul made on Twitter about FOX News debate moderator Megyn Kelly. Trump said on yesterday’s State of the Union program on CNN that Erickson was notorious for his misogyny against women, calling him a “loser” and “deviant.” Trump continues to lead the large field of GOP candidates in the polls.

Chef Ford Fry is expanding again, this time opening Bar Margot at the Four Seasons in Midtown on Sept. 28.  According to Eater Atlanta, the bar will replace Park 75 Lounge and serve up lunch and dinner. The bar is named after Gwyneth Paltrow’s character Margot Tenenbaum, the secretive playwright in the movie The Royal Tenenbaums.

Ponce City Market developer Jamestown has filed a trademark for The Roof at Ponce City Market, according to a report in the Atlanta Business Chronicle. As previously reported, Jamestown is planning to put amusement rides, miniature golf and more on the massive roof of the redeveloped Sears & Roebuck building in the Old Fourth Ward.
