Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank made it official this morning: the new $1.4 billion stadium rising next to the Georgia Dome will be called Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The new retractable roof stadium will also be home to the city’s new major league soccer team, Atlanta United FC.

The German automaker, which is relocating its headquarters from New Jersey to Sandy Springs, has naming rights for 27 years. Mercedes-Benz also has its name on the Superdome in New Orleans.

The stadium is slated to open in 2017.
