Investigation continues into how a fan fell from an upper deck from Turner Field last night during last night’s Braves vs. Yankess game. According to CBS46, Alpharetta resident Greg Murray fell 40 feet onto a concrete walkway during the 7th inning.
A spokesperson from the Atlanta Braves issued the following statement:
“The Atlanta Braves are deeply saddened by the loss of Greg Murrey at last night’s game. Greg was a valued and longtime season ticket holder and an incredibly passionate Braves fan. This tragic loss is felt throughout Braves Country, and the thoughts and prayers of the entire Braves organization continue to go out to his family and friends.”
Reports suggest that Murray was among those who stood up to boo when Yankee’s player Alex Rodriguez to bat. He might have lost his balance and went over the railing, according to officials.
