Nearly 32 people showed up this morning to camp out and participate in the “First 100” activities going on for the Perimeter at Hammond Drive grand opening, a spokesperson for Chick-fil-A said.

The company will continue to register folks throughout the day and night until they reach the 100th person. The store’s grand opening is Sept. 3 at 6 a.m. Participants must stay for 24 hours until the grand opening to win.

As is the chain’s custom, the first 100 people in line who qualify get a free meal each week for a year. The official rules say visitors may use their U.S. Government-issued ID, a recent bill or a bank statement to prove residency and students attending college in the eligible ZIP codes may bring a current, valid student ID to establish eligibility for the “First 100” promotion.
