The Young Professionals of Dunwoody are set to host a panel discussion on Georgia’s Thriving Film Industry Tuesday Sept. 8 at The Dunwoody Tavern from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Panelists for the event will include Craig Dominey, who is the senior film location specialist for the Georgia Film, Music and Digital Entertainment Office and Georgia’s Camera Ready creator and manager, Shelbia Jackson, the DeKalb County Camera Ready liaison for the Georgia Department of Economic Development and Melanie Antos, with Mellen Productions.

During the event, panelists will answer questions about Georgia’s Camera Ready Program, legislative updates concerning the film industry, the overall economic impact of Georgia’s film industry and what steps are being taken to ensure that there is a viable workforce as the industry continues to grow.

Fees/Admission: The cost to attend is $25 per person for Chamber Members and $35 per person for prospective-members. Registration includes a Tuscan chicken sandwich with roasted tomato and basil mayonnaise prepared by The Dunwoody Tavern. Those wishing to attend must register online. Registration is limited to 30 persons and will end on Sunday Sept. 6 at midnight, no walk-ins will be accepted and no refunds will be given. Payment is required by credit card at the time of registration.
