Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck while crossing Chamblee-Dunwoody Road at Old Springhouse Lane on Sept. 16.
A 2006 Toyota Avalon, which was turning onto Chamblee-Dunwoody Road from Dunwoody Park, hit the pedestrian at about 4 p.m., police spokesman Sgt. Tim Fecht said in a press release.
“As a result of the accident the Pedestrian received injuries significant enough to require transport to a medical facility,” Fecht wrote.
The Dunwoody Police Department is seeking the assistance of individuals who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed the accident.
