The Brookhaven Reporter plans to host a public debate among the candidates running for mayor of Brookhaven in the Nov. 3 city election.
The debate will be held at Oglethorpe University on Oct. 20. Brookhaven residents are invited to attend. The event is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and end about 9 p.m.
Mayor Rebecca Chase Williams and challengers John Ernst and Dale Boone are scheduled to take part.
