The Movies by Moonlight showing scheduled for Oct. 2 has been cancelled due to expected bad weather, according to an email from Leadership Sandy Springs, sponsor of the event.
The planned showing of “Cinderella” was cancelled “due to the impending rainy weather forecast and uncertainties about Hurricane Joaquin,” according the email.
A showing scheduled for the previous Friday night, Sept. 25, also was cancelled to avoid bad weather. That showing was rescheduled for Oct. 2.
