Proponents of building a bicycle and pedestrian bridge over busy Moreland Avenue to connect Freedom Park to the PATH trail will host a community design and planning session at Manuel’s Tavern on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.

The bridge would be located at the intersection of Moreland and Freedom Parkway just north of Little Five Points. The intersection is heavily travelled by both vehicles and cyclists/pedestrians. Supporters said the bridge will help link neighborhoods and create a better connection from Downtown to Stone Mountain.
