Teens engaging in pranks from toilet papering trees to leaving feces on doorsteps could face arrest and possible expulsion from school, officials say.
Monday night Oct. 19 the Dunwoody Police Department shared on its Facebook Page a video of Lt. Fidel Espinoza warning teens to stay home instead of engaging in “junior-senior wars” and encouraging parents to watch out for their kids. The video was posted shortly after 10 p.m.
In a letter sent home with students today, Dunwoody High Principal Thomas McFerrin said the school’s traditional Junior-Senior War has gone from “benign pranks” to damaging property, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. He reminded them that the school’s code of conduct included action for incidents away from the school’s campus, including a minimum 10-day suspension and expulsion.
Officer Harold Nelson said Oct. 20 no arrests were made the previous night.
