IMG_4286Grindhouse Killer Burgers will open a free-standing restaurant in the former Bar One space at 701 Memorial Drive in Grant Park. Grindhouse’s seventh and final Atlanta restaurant will find its home between Paces Properties recently announced Atlanta Dairies and Larkin developments.

“When complete, this will be a much-needed addition to the neighborhood,” saidGeorge Banks, Paces Properties Partner, in a statement to the media.

The one-story building is approximately 4,000 square feet and will seat up to 150 guests and feature ample on-site parking. “We plan to make it the most retro of all of our Grindhouse Killer Burger locations, a throwback to drive-in’s of the 1950s, with a big mid-century modern façade,” said Grindhouse Killer Burgers Owner, Alex Brounstein. “It will feature an indoor/outdoor bar and a biergarten-style patio with outdoor games and classic movies being projected.”

The newly announced location on Memorial Drive is a short distance from the original Grindhouse at the Sweet Auburn Curb Market, which opened in 2009.

“We are huge fans of the Atlanta Beltline, which will be extended to Memorial Drive shortly. We feel like the time is right to invest in the area especially with the major developments Paces Properties is bringing to the corridor,” adds Brounstein.

Kronberg-Wall Architects with designers Flags of Origin are working together on this new location set to open in early 2017.
