­From police reports dated Oct.18 to 31.

The following information was provided to the Buckhead Reporter by the Zone 2 precinct of the Atlanta Police Department from its records and is presumed to be accurate.

Robbery

2700 block of Noble Creek Drive—A man approached a woman who was walking toward her and asked if she had anything in her bag. When she said no, he pointed a black gun and demanded her purse. She gave up $40 while the suspect had the gun pointed toward her throat and said, “Oh, you can go.”

1600 block of Peachtree Road—Two men with a handgun approached a woman at a bus stop and said, “Give it up, folk.” One suspect struck her in her head with a black handgun after she gave up her bag. One suspect tried to pull the trigger on his gun, but it jammed.

400 block of Northside Circle—Two robberies were reported at an apartment complex. A man parked and attempted to leave his vehicle when a stranger hit him on the left side of his head with a pistol. The suspects took the man’s cellphone, wallet, car keys and cash, before striking the man again with a gun and ordering him not to move until they got in their vehicle.

A second man was robbed after a stranger approached from behind a dark vehicle, pointed a handgun in his face and ordered him to get on the ground. The suspect took the man’s cellphone, apartment keys and $6. The suspect fled the scene with another male suspect.

1700 block of Peachtree Street—A man wearing a ski mask approached an Uber driver’s side door, pointed a black handgun and said “Give me all your money.” The driver drove forward and the suspect ran away.

800 block of Wright Avenue—A man pulled a black handgun and demanded a woman’s cellphone. The man with a gun struck the woman in the back of the head, right behind her ear.

600 block of Miami Circle—A young man entered a business and started looking around. When someone asked if he needed help, the man picked up two laptops and started to run from the store. The employee attempted to tackle the man, causing him to drop the laptops. The employee was dragged several feet through the store, toward the front door and tried to follow the man, but was unsuccessful.

2100 block of Cheshire Bridge Road—A man punched another man who was walking down the street, and took his iPhone.

2200 block of Lenox Road—A man was robbed at gunpoint as he walked up to his apartment. The gunman took a wallet from the resident’s pocket and ran out of the apartment complex.

2400 block of Coronet Way—One man approached another man, who was taking out his trash. The first man displayed a handgun and said, “Let me check your pockets.” The man stole a Samsung cellphone, ID, house keys, $350 in cash and a Wells Fargo bank card.

1900 block of Hollywood Road—Two men asked to buy another man’s blue nose pitbull dog while he was begging for money at a gas station. Moments later, the two men chased and punched the beggar, taking a fast-food bag containing $1,000 and his dog. The suspects ran to an awaiting gray Nissan. The beggar tried to hold onto the vehicle until one man pulled a long case from the trunk, which the victim believed was a gun.

1700 block of Defoor Ave—A man armed with a handgun took a woman’s purse and jumped into the driver’s seat of a silver 2006 Pontiac GRA that had a male passenger. The stolen cellphone was tracked and the suspects were arrested for the Defoor Avenue robbery as well as a robbery in the 2100 block of Belvedere Drive (below).

2100 block of Belvedere Drive—A woman was pulling into her driveway when she heard a screeching noise behind her vehicle. When she turned and asked, “Can I help you?” the suspect said, “I think something is wrong with my car.” A man with a gun then demanded her purse and money. She asked him to let her take her wallet with cash, but return her purse, which he did. He fled in a silver 2006 Pontiac GRA. Patrol officers canvassed the area and the suspects were spotted. A felon stop was conducted and the suspects arrested.

3800 block of Roswell Road—An employee was cleaning the restaurant when three men with covered faces entered through an unlocked rear door. The first man was armed with a handgun and a second suspect had a Taser. The gunman asked, “Who is here?” and then asked, “Where it at?” and “Where is the safe at?” The suspects took the employee upstairs to the office, and told him to stand beside the door. As the suspects knocked on the office door, an employee counting money opened the door. “Give me the money, put it in the bag,” the gunman said to the employee, who placed $1,195 in cash, a laptop, house/car keys and a cellphone inside a Lululemon black bag and gave it to the gunman. The gunman closed both employees inside the office and fled the location. The stolen cellphone was tracked to Land O’ Lakes Court, but police did not locate the suspects.

3300 block of Lenox Road—Three men approached a woman from behind in a mall parking lot and told her to empty her purse. She started screaming, which alerted an off-duty officer. When the men tried to snatch her purse, it dumped on the ground. They picked up her money and her cellphone, and then insisted she had more money and demanded her keys. When the woman said she didn’t have more money and was waiting for a ride, they continued to follow her and ask for keys. When she laid on the ground and began to scream the men ran toward the MARTA station. One of the suspects was apprehended.

2000 block of Monroe Drive—A man driving in an apartment complex felt his tire shaking and pulled into the parking lot to check it. As he exited the vehicle and looked at his tire, two men with handguns ran toward him. The first gunman said, “Get on the ground,” and, “Don’t move or I’ll kill you.” He took the man’s cellphone and $90, while the second armed man searched the man’s vehicle. When the suspect removed the handgun from the man’s head, the man ran and heard two or three shots being fired in his direction. A shell casing was recovered and submitted for processing.

1600 block of Piedmont Avenue—A woman got off a MARTA bus and walked onto Piedmont Avenue, where two men, who also had been passengers on the bus, approached her from behind. The men took her purse and removed $900, her bank card and her driver’s license and ran onto Morningside Drive.

2200 block of Lenox Road—A man walking on Cheshire Bridge Road, carrying a case of water on his shoulders, noticed a stranger walking toward him. As the stranger passed, he grabbed the man by the shoulder, shoved a grey handgun in his left side and removed his grey/green backpack, bank debit card, Mexican ID and passport. The man requested to keep his ID to which the stranger said “No.”

Aggravated Assault

2000 block of Bolton Road—Four men approached another man, pointed a gun to his head and said, “We are getting back at you because of your father-in-law.” One of the suspects grabbed the man’s phone and threw it to the ground and then twisted the man’s arm. The attackers left in a grey Kia.

2100 block of James Jackson Parkway—A man heard his alarm sound and looked outside to see a man in his vehicle. When the owner ran out to confront the stranger, the suspect fled to an awaiting white Chevrolet four-door pick-up truck with a dark tint. Once he was inside the vehicle, the suspects began shooting at the man.

2000 block of Peachtree Road--A verbal altercation turned physical when a woman was bitten and pepper sprayed.

I-75 at Northside Drive—A person in a white, four-door vehicle shot at and hit another person in the knee, while driving on Northside Drive/I-75 entering the I-85 entrance. Multiple rounds were fired at the victims’ vehicle. The suspect vehicle was last seen continuing in the I-75 HOV lane.

2000 block of Peachtree Road—A woman reported that after she had unprotected sex with a friend, he later disclosed to her that he was HIV positive.

Residential Burglary

1700 block of Warren Court—Several pieces of jewelry were removed from a closet and eight silver knives and a serving tray were also taken from a house.

3800 block of Beechwood Drive—A Stihl circular saw, DeWalt Saws-All, Sears’s circular saw, Sears socket set, Sears Air Compressor, 1978 NHL Stanley Cup Championship ring, a black diamond cufflink and a Lenovo laptop were taken from a house where the back door had been kicked in. The resident believes someone that responded to his Craigslist ad possibly committed the burglary.

2100 block of Parkview Run—Two back windows and kitchen windows were broken at a house, where several pieces of jewelry were taken.

1900 block of Howell Mill Road—An apartment resident discovered a flat panel TV sitting on the floor. The TV had been mounted to the wall. Clothing, two iPads and 15 pairs of shoes were taken.

1000 block of Brookwood Valley Circle—An HP laptop, an Armani watch, Burberry and Chrome cologne, $35 in currency, a set of Samsung headphones and a California Pak bag were taken.

1700 block of Northside Drive—Three burglaries were reported at Berkeley Heights Apartments, where the front doors were kicked in. A MacBook laptop, an iPhone 6 and clothing items were taken from the first unit. A second resident reported a Dell Inspirion laptop and $1,400 in currency taken from an apartment. The third resident said an iPad, DVDs and hair clippers were taken.

3600 block of Nancy Creek Road—A burglary was reported at a house where 12 goblets, 10 serving spoons, 12 tea spoons, two bowls, a pitcher and serving plate were taken. A witness saw a small silver sedan speeding across the front lawn.

2200 block of Dunseath Avenue—A Socialmatic Polaroid camera, two iPad minis, a set of Beats speakers, an iPhone 5 and a Samsung Galaxy 5S were taken from a house.

1600 block of Defoors Walk—A 12-volt impact wrench in a black bag, 192-piece tool set, a Dremel drill and two Husky zip bags with a small socket wrench set were taken from a house.

2800 block of Wyngate Drive—A silver Cartier watch, three gold and diamond rings, a diamond/gold pen, a large quantity of silverware and $200 in cash were taken from a house.

2600 block of Sharondale Drive—A Dell Inspiron laptop and jewelry were taken from a house where the back patio doors were forced open. A clear sandwich bag of money and a wallet with several credit cards were not taken.

3400 block of Kingsboro Road—The interior of the residence was ransacked and items were thrown about. A silver HP laptop was taken.

3200 Lenox Road—A 50-inch Samsung TV, an Apple laptop and clothing were taken from an apartment.

3100 block of Arbor Gates Drive—A laptop, Bose speaker, Cannon underwater camera, a gun case w/ box of ammo, magazine and laser, a Sony camcorder and 50 DVDs were reported missing.

2800 block of Lenox Road—A fanny pack with checks from a checkbook and cash were taken.

2400 block of Cheshire Bridge Road—Three black Samsung TVs, two DeWalt screw guns, a Hilt drill, a white Apple Mac, clothes, shoes and a red/blue Nautica suitcase were taken.

1700 block of West Sussex Road—A man asked his alarm company to not send police to his residence after a glass rear door was broken. A silver cake server, two silver knives, silver butter, fruit knife, silver teaspoons, brass candlesticks, set of wine coasters, silver serving desk set, silver spectacle case and a silver box were taken.

1700 block of Pine Ridge Drive–A hand saw and $5 in currency were taken from a vehicle that was inside a garage.

Auto Theft

Between Oct. 18 and 24, a total of 12 vehicles were reported stolen.

Between Oct. 25 and 31, a total of 10 vehicles were reported stolen and one attempt to steal a vehicle was reported.

Thefts/Larcenies

Between Oct.18 and 24, a total of 48 thefts from automobiles were reported and an additional 42 reports of other larcenies, including shoplifting, were made.

Between Oct. 25 and 31, a total of 36 thefts from automobiles were reported and an additional 40 reports of other larcenies, including shoplifting, were made.
