The entertainment venues, bars and clubs that make up Buckhead’s Andrews Entertainment District will be closing after a New Year’s Eve celebration to make room for a redevelopment.
Closing on Dec. 31 will be East Andrews, The Atlanta Improv Comedy Club & Dinner Theatre, Stout Irish Sports Pub, Cellar 56, Czar Ice Bar, Stillhouse Craft Burgers & Moonshine, Burn Social Club, Prohibition and Sal’s Pizzeria.
The property was purchased by Columbia, SC-based developer Edens last August, but no plans have been released for the redevelopment project. New locations for the displaced businesses are also unknown, but Andrews Entertainment District president Steve de Haan said in a statement that “our future is bright, and we will have many new announcements in the coming weeks and months ahead.”
The Atlanta Improv Comedy Club & Dinner Theatre has a big closing line up for its New Year’s Eve Show, including SNL alum Norm Macdonald, Bryan Callen, George Wallace and T.J. Miller.
