Northside Hospital is in the top 20 of America’s best employers, according to Forbes magazine’s annual list.
Also on the list are three major corporations headquartered in Sandy Springs: BCD Travel at number 231; United Parcel Service at number 362; and Newell Rubbermaid at number 468.
Northside, on Johnson Ferry Road in Sandy Springs’ “Pill Hill” medical center, placed number 18 on the list and was the highest-ranked firm in Georgia. Forbes compiled the list by surveying 30,000 workers at companies with more than 5,000 employees.
“Our employees dedicate themselves 24 hours a day to excellence, and these rankings are a tribute to their skills, commitment and spirit,” said Bob Quattrocchi, president and CEO of Northside Hospital, Inc., in a press release. “I am proud to be a part of the culture they have created, which begins and ends with patient care. They are leaders in their fields, and this recognition for them is appropriate and so well-deserved.”
