Sandy Springs drivers may soon be able to get their car tags at the grocery store.
Fulton County Tax Commissioner Arthur Ferdinand and state officials on May 5 were to unveil the first two vehicle tag vending machines in the county, the county announced.
One of the two tag kiosks was set up in a Kroger store at 227 Sandy Springs Place, the county said. The other was located in a Kroger at 2685 Metropolitan Parkway in southwest Atlanta. The two stores are among the busiest Kroger locations in the county, the county said in a press release.
The machines, the county said, will offer an option for residents to secure vehicle tags. About 1 million vehicles are registered in Fulton County, the county press release said.
