Atlanta is moving forward with a $1 million environmental analysis of a proposed route of the Atlanta Streetcar that would run 2.5 miles from Centennial Olympic Park west to the Atlanta BeltLine’s Westside Trail, according to SaportaReport. The analysis, a major step before the city can apply for federal funding, is to begin this month and be complete in December.

Decatur will be the first community in Georgia to receive a 365 by Whole Foods Market grocery store, according to a report at Decaturish. The smaller store concept will be part of the forthcoming North Decatur Square shopping center being developed by S.J. Collins Enterprises at North Decatur Road and Church Street.

The developer behind Krog Street Market and Atlanta Dairies project has bought The Atlantic Shopping Center property on Memorial Drive, according to Curbed Atlanta. Paces Properties bought the property at 1599 Memorial and plans to keep the name and the renovate the 110,000 square feet of space for retail.
