Atlanta Streets Alive returns Sunday, June 12, to take over Peachtree Street through the heart of the city. There’s also a new time frame.

For this year’s Peachtree event, the street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 4 to 8 p.m.

The 2.7-mile stretch from Edgewood Avenue to 17th Street will be open for people to walk on foot, bike, skateboard, rollerblade and other human-powered means.

Participants can expect a wealth of activities hosted by community organizations and businesses. Many businesses and restaurants will be open and offering specials and welcoming all the foot-traffic.
