Atlanta Watershed Management crews will close a lane of the Buford-Spring Street Connector on Sunday night for installation of a barrier to allow sewer repairs in the area, the city announced. The closing will be temporary.

Work should start about 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, and should end later that evening, once the work is complete. “Full road service will be restored Sunday evening once barriers are placed. Motorists should exercise caution and avoid the area if possible,” the city said in a press release.

A contractor is scheduled to begin work on the project June 20. The work is expected to take about four weeks.
