As the city prepares for 2016 street paving, some neighborhoods with private streets in Brookhaven will be eligible to take advantage of the same unit pricing for asphalt and other materials available to the city per the city’s paving contract, according to a press release.
Once the city awards a contract to the low bidder or bidders, the city will provide contact information to the neighborhood for the selected contractor. The neighborhood will be required to enter into a direct contract with the paving contractor for work on their streets.
