The city of Dunwoody is hosting a public information open house on Tuesday, Aug. 16, to gather community input on the dangerous intersection of Mount Vernon Road and Tilly Milly Road.
The meeting will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church at 2443 Mount Vernon Road.
The city is seeking community input on how to improve the intersection that is considered a high priority in the city’s Comprehensive Transportation Plan.
“This intersection and the surrounding corridors lack adequate turn lanes along Mount Vernon and have limited accommodation for non-motorized users,” according to a press release. “The goal of this project is to correct these deficiencies and improve the safety and operations of this intersection.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to view the current concepts and provide feedback.
