screen-shot-2016-09-22-at-5-05-29-pmTickets are still available for the 4th annual Decatur’s Dinner Party on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 6 to 10 p.m. on the grounds of the city’s historic cemetery. Decatur’s most talented chefs are joining forces with farmers from Global Growers (GG) farmers to prepare an array of dishes to raise money to support local agricultural projects.

Participating Restaurants include Brick Store Pub, Cakes & Ale, Chai Pani, Farm Burger, Kimball House, Leon’s Full Service, Makan, No. 246, Pine Street Market, Revival, Steinbeck’s, Twain’s Brewpub & Billiards and Victory Sandwich Bar.

The event features a multi-course dinner, handcrafted cocktails, local beers, and a superb wine collection. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in both silent and live auctions offering one-of-a-kind products and experiences. The event benefits GG, a nonprofit organization that creates opportunities in sustainable agriculture by growing good food, training farmers, and providing economic opportunities.

Tickets are $150 per person and can be purchased online at globalgrowers.org.
