Our contributing photographer Asep Mawardi was on hand Sunday afternoon for Atlanta Streets Alive, which took place in Virginia-Highland, Poncey-Highland and the Old Fourth Ward. Thousands participated in the event, which saw some of the neighborhoods main thoroughfares (including Highland Avenue, Boulevard and North Avenue) blocked to vehicles so Intowners could bike, walk and skate. For even more photos from today’s event, visit our Facebook page. The final Atlanta Streets Alive is set for Oct. 23 from 2-6 p.m. on Peachtree Street. Find out more at atlantastreetsalive.com.
