The person killed in a Midtown shooting Sept. 26 has been identified as Buckhead business executive Diane McIver, according to ajc.com.

McIver was president of Corey Airport Services, an advertising company known for its giant billboard on a smokestack in downtown Atlanta.

McIver was reportedly shot inside a vehicle while riding with acquaintances. Atlanta Police are investigating.

  1. So so tragic and likely was preventable. Very saddened to hear of this death.
