The Dunwoody Police Department and multiple other law enforcement agencies, fire departments and EMS providers in the area will be conducting a training exercise at Perimeter Mall on Sunday, Oct. 9, from 7 to 11 a.m.
The training is for a response to a mass casualty event that will include actors role-playing, said Dunwoody Sgt. Aaron Belt.
“As a result, you may see a large number of emergency vehicles, observe police activity and hear noises associated with a police operation at Perimeter Mall early Sunday morning. Please do not be alarmed. This is a training exercise only,” he said in a press release.
The training should be finished before the mall opens for business on Sunday, he said. The mall opens at noon.
