
Professor Ibram Kendi will discuss “Stamped from the Beginning,” his National Book Award-winning history of American racist ideas, at the Atlanta Historical Society on Dec. 12.
Kendi, a professor of African American history at the University of Florida, will discuss the political reasons for the creation and popularizing of racist ideas. His book won the 2016 National Book Award for nonfiction.
