Protestors plan to coverage on the Domestic South Terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport today, Jan. 29, from 4 to 6 p.m. The protest is in response to President Donald Trump’s executive order banning refugees and immigrants from seven majority-Muslim countries. The order also affected visa holders and green card holders and lead to the detention of at least 11 people at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport on Saturday.
The executive order has since been partially blocked by a federal judge allowing those detained at airports and in transit not to be sent back.
Airport official said they have a plan in place to accommodate protestors that won’t snarl airline traffic or delay passengers.
