The event, sponsored by Perennial Properties, will offer attendees a chance to support The Lifecycle Building Center, which salvages reusable building materials and promote its platform of reuse and environmental sustainability. Since its inception in 2011, the organization has diverted 3.3 million pounds of reusable materials away from landfills, and provide $2.2 million in economic impact to the community through discounts on reusable building materials and donations to local nonprofits, schools, and houses of faith.
LBC operates a 70,000square foot retail facility in Southwest Atlanta which is open to the public and offers material pickup and deconstruction services. Nonprofits, schools, community groups, and houses of faith can access free materials through LBC’s Nonprofit Material MATCH Program.
Tickets are $25 per person and may be purchased at LifecycleBuildingCenter.org.
