The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System will hold an additional public meeting on the redesign and renovation of the Central Library in Downtown on Tuesday, May 8, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

A proposal to add windows to Marcel Breuer’s original 1977 Brutalist design has been controversial. During the meeting, Fulton County officials, library officials and representatives from Cooper Carry Architects will share plans for the redesign and continue to gather input on the project.

Residents are also encouraged to take a survey on the redesign of building at this link. The deadline to take the survey is May 7. Results will be shared at the public meeting.

Design plans are available for viewing on the library’s website at this link.
