Atlanta Police are investigating the shooting of a voter outside a polling place in northwest Atlanta this morning. Polls are open today for the Georgia Primary Election.

According to a statement from Fulton County, the incident happened around 11:30 a.m. at Lindsay Street Baptist Church. The polling manager reported that the voter was shot in the parking lot after casting a vote. The condition of the victim is unknown.

The poll is still open but voters will need to park on the street while officers are onsite. Polls will remain open until 7 p.m.
